The Robotics Engineering for Biomechatronics Laboratory (REBOT Lab) was established in the spring of 2026 

within the Department of AI Biomedical Engineering at the Catholic University of Korea. 

Our research spans diverse areas of human-centered robotics, with a primary focus on developing wearable robots, rehabilitation robots, robotic prostheses, and Biosignal-based human-robot interfaces and AI-based human assistance applications. 

By merging advanced biomechatronics with robotics engineering, we aim to enhance human capabilities and improve quality of life.

바이오메카트로닉스로봇연구실은 가톨릭대학교 AI의공학과 소속 연구실로 2026년에 설립 되었습니다.

리봇연구실은 인간이 중심인 로봇 공학 기술의 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있으며, 

특히 웨어러블로봇, 재활로봇, 로봇 의수·의족, 생체신호 기반 인간-로봇 인터페이스, AI 기반 어플리케이션 등 노약자를 위한 기술 개발에 주력하고 있습니다. 

궁극적으로 첨단 생체메카트로닉스와 로봇공학의 융합을 통해, 인간의 신체 능력을 증강하고 삶의 질을 향상시키는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
